Why a projector?
De Esdoorn offers both online and in-person lessons for children, teenagers and adults. During the pandemic it became clear that there is a need to update our classroom technology to make our programs even better.
A projector would support our teachers in the classroom, as well as for our Dutch Cultural Days. For Sinterklaas in 2021, the parents made a video of the children answering questions about Sinterklaas, and a projector would let us show the whole group at the same time, building the children’s sense of community.
Impact
Our goal is to fund-raise for 1 high quality projector in 2021-2022 at a cost of $2500.
De Esdoorn was founded in 2015 and is registered as the non-profit organization ‘De Esdoorn – Dutch Language and Culture School Society’.
