“The course has greatly helped me in my learning of speaking and reading in the Dutch language, even if I am not yet fluent I feel I have learned and internalized much more than I could have on my own. I as well credit you with being a great teacher and I greatly appreciate the additional assistance and your patience with assisting me through some of my greater difficulties. You always did a great job of encouraging interactivity in class, and made lessons feel full and interesting. I think the real world videos and slides were very helpful, as well I liked assignments where you were asked to apply the language like writing a recipe, or a poem, or directions. It was also very important that you kept pushing us to speak conversationally, even if we needed some warming up. I can’t think of anything I felt was lacking, overall I always looked forward to class and I hope that in the future I will be able to return for the next levels of study.”
