Summer Poster Contest!
This contest is aimed at adults, but it could be a fun family activity for you this summer:
- Download & print one of these posters (below) on letter paper, landscape orientation
- Pin it up in a great spot! (Closer to Surrey = better for promoting our new location)
- Take a picture
- Post to Facebook – make sure you add: (1) location, (2) mention @De Esdoorn Dutch Language and Culture School, (3) tag the photo, and (4) set privacy to “Public” or we won’t be able to see it!
- Win! The picture that gets the most Likes on September 1st 2021 will win $50
- Must be a legal spot
- Mentioning and tagging De Esdoorn will enter you in the competition
- (You can lobby to get more likes)
- You can post as many posters as you like, but only 1 submission for each spot
Fun Dutch Word Contest!
This contest is aimed at kids, but needs parental supervision (and tech support for posting and tagging):
- Search…ask…read… to find the funniest Dutch word in the world
- Post to (your parents) Facebook and mention @De Esdoorn Dutch Language and Culture School and set the privacy to “Public”
- Win! The post with the most Likes on September 1st 2021 will win $50
- Must be a word you could say in our Dutch classes that would be approved of by your teachers! 🙂
- Mentioning or tagging will enter you in the competition
- (You can lobby to get more likes)
- Write a small description with your name and why you find the word funny or crazy
- Maximal 1 word per day per Facebook account (you can post 1 word every day)
* By equal likes the prices will be split between the winners.
* Prizes do not come from de Esdoorn budget, but are a donation
