De Esdoorn has lessons for everyone — whether you are a new family to Canada and speak Dutch as a first language, or an adult reconnecting with the language of your heritage. We offer in-person classes at our Vancouver and Fraser Valley school locations, and online classes to adults and children across Canada. We are Canada’s only Dutch school accredited by the Foundation for Dutch Education Worldwide (NOB – Stichting Nederlands Onderwijs in het Buitenland). Choose a category or click on a lesson below.

We offer a variety of lesson terms to choose from:
School year – programs for children age 2.5-12 years (from September to June, including weekly lessons and 5 cultural days), see school calendar
Term – programs for children age 3-11, teenagers and adults (10 weekly lessons, starting at various times throughout the year)
Private lessons – for all ages, all levels, as individuals or in groups at your home, office or online (throughout the year)
Summer camp – for children age 3-15 (during the school summer holidays)
